Are you interested in Staffordshire history? In October we are launching a new volunteer group led by PhD researcher Hannah Smith who is studying how slavery and abolition are remembered in Staffordshire.

The group will be transcribing documents at first, with the chance to work on cataloguing and exhibition design later in the project.

The group will be based at Eastgate House in Stafford on Thursday mornings.
