Attraction Action!
To mark the 10th anniversary of Staffordshire Day on 1 May, We Are Staffordshire invited primary schools from across the county to take part in a special creative learning project celebrating Staffordshire’s past, present and future.
This project provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn about their local area, work closely with a Staffordshire attraction, and see their creations displayed publicly as part of the county-wide celebrations.
To inspire the students our learning officer at the Staffordshire History Centre visited St Austin’s Primary School to explore the history of the county, and the pupils produced some amazing artworks in response. A selection of these is currently displayed at the history centre. The remaining artworks can be viewed here.
