The entrance to the new History Centre

The Staffordshire History Centre is free to visit and is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm. Enjoy over a 1000 years of Staffordshire history through displays, interactives, heritage rooms in the William Salt Library and special events!

It is free to visit and view our temporary exhibition; small charges apply for special events. Our opening exhibition is A Case for the Ordinary which explores the patient experience at Staffordshire asylums.

How to Find Us:

Our main entrance is via an archway on Eastgate Street, opposite Tipping Street. There is also a pedestrian walkway from North Walls.
